This week’s ’15 Minutes’ is going to be pretty late or just not up until Friday: I’ve been going through a very, very serious family matter and just can’t find a smile right now.

While i really don’t want to go into specifics, i will say i now know what it’s like to be affected by an asshole drunken driver. I’m usually a pretty ‘forgive and forget’ person, but this is incredibly tough. It’s been a rough week.

Thanks for hanging in there with me~ I promise to have something up by Friday.

UPDATE: 4/20/2005

So, everyone wants to know why i’m not responding to email and being the ‘Best Benjamin’ i can possibly be. It’s tough sometimes and lately it’s been ESPECIALLY tough. If it sounds like i’m asking for a little slack… I am.

My mom was hit by a drunk driver. She’s spent time since the accident in IC here in a San Antonio hospital in an induced coma. She’s had several strokes in the hospital and due to being sedated, we can’t be sure of her functionality yet.

It’s been a bad week and i honestly don’t like the world much right now. I’m extremely close to my mom. It’s impossible to put into words, but very simply, i feel shattered.
